In Deuteronomy 30:19 it deals with Facing a Choice. You made the marvelous choice to “Save Lives.” You are truly following what God wants us to do as Christians. You definitely received a smile that day from above. Please keep choosing Life. Our next Blood Donation date to give Life Saving Bood is Sunday, September7th from 8 AM to 1PM in the PAC (building at the far West end adjacent to the North parking lot).
Signups begins now online and at church August 23rd before and after Masses and goes until September 7th the day of the donations. We will have volunteers ready to help you sign up. It is very important you sign in early, so we have a large staff to receive your truly generous gift of Life.
God Bless You and Your Families.

Epiphany has been hosting blood drives with the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center since 2003. Epiphany of the Lord sponsors quarterly blood drives to help those in poor health receive the life-giving blood. The Blood Drives for 2025 are on the following dates:
September 7, 2025 November 9, 2025
Why should you donate Blood?
Each unit of blood is typically separated into three components: red blood cells, plasma (the liquid part), and platelets. Each component can go to a separate person, so each unit of blood (about a pint) can help up to three individuals depending on their needs. Each day the Houston area hospitals need over 1000 units of blood - seven days a week.
The Blood Drive is held in the Parish Activity Center Rec Room and pre-registration is needed. Donors must be in general good health, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be at least 17 years old. COVID safety measures will be used and thus a mask is to be worn. There may be other eligibility requirements, and full health history will be taken at the beginning of each donation. Register online at www.giveblood.org.
Please consider donating at our next Blood Drive or at the Gulf Coast Blood Center at 1575 S. Grand Parkway and use Epiphany's donor group number 2340.
